LTRO’s, 63 PC, Kevin Coyne Named DuPage GOP Chairman

Beginning January 1, 2025, DuPage County GOP Vice Chairman Kevin Coyne will succeed retiring Chairman Jim Zay. Coyne brings substantial political experience to this role. Coyne LTRO 63 PC is the Founder and President of Safe Suburbs USA PAC, a political action committee aimed at supporting pro-law enforcement candidates and public safety-focused policymaking. Kevin served two terms as a Councilman for the City of Naperville (2015-21) and currently serves on Naperville’s Public Library Board of Trustees. Coyne was the Republican candidate for the DuPage County Board (District 5) in 2022. Kevin was also a Presidential delegate candidate, and member of the Illinois leadership team, for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s Presidential campaign in 2024. Coyne served in the same capacity for then-U.S. Senator Marco Rubio’s Presidential campaign in 2016.

In taking on his new role Coyne stated:
“This is an incredibly exciting time to be a Republican. Republicans control the White House, the U.S. Senate, and our House of Representatives.

In November, President-Elect Trump’s stunningly convincing victory invigorated our party, and Americans have issued a clear mandate in support of the GOP’s commitment to making our communities safer, removing politics from our schools, and reducing our ridiculous tax burden. I look forward to working hard to lead the DuPage GOP back to a position of strength and to taking advantage of the sweeping national momentum that is clearly behind the GOP right now.

I am thankful for this opportunity and send a personal note of thanks to my predecessor, Jim Zay, for his hard work as Chairman and his many years of commitment to the DuPage County GOP.”

Zay will continue to serve in his role as a Member of the DuPage County Board and as Chairman of the DuPage County Water Commission.
