Referendum – Naperville & Lisle Township Road merger

On the On our local 2017 election ballot there is choice for a binding referendum to combine 64 miles of roads into one administrative district.  Naperville Township currently manages has 13 miles of roads while Lisle Township manages about 51 miles.  Due to the difference in miles managed lisle township residents currently pay a little more than Naperville.  If the referendum passes Lisle Township residents would likely pay less per home in road taxes.  

the Ballot Question will read as:

Shall the Naperville Township Road District and the Lisle Township Road District of DuPage County, Illinois be consolidated into one consolidated township road district?
